Review: Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver

these images are from about 4-5 months ago.. that's how long it's taken for me to get my act together!

A very long time ago now, I was sent the Enrapture Jumbo Waver to review. It came in the most gorgeous purple/blue shiny box, & almost instantly I found myself using the styler everyday!

I really love how this product gives you Carrie Bradshaw style waves- really effortless & natural. The jumbo waver leaves gorgeous 'S' shaped waves with it's 25mm barrels, which I find give heaps of volume if you hold it with the underneath plate facing upwards. The easiest way to use this (that I have found) is to section your hair into the top section, middle section, & bottom section; rather than back, middle & front. I usually brush my hair out, just to give a more messy & not-so-put-together look! These waves last all day in my hair if I use a hair mousse, and sometimes even last the second day (think messy bun perfection).

Onto the tool itself & all it's snazzy little functions..

The Enrapture Jumbo Waver has two easy to use controls- an on/off switch & a temperature adjustment dial. The dial itself is measured in dots rather than actual temperatures, which is something I personally don't like. As with most stylers today the Jumbo Waver has a spinny cord mechanism (professional term, of course) that means you don't end up tangled in the cord & shouting for help! It also has a clip to keep the tool shut when you aren't using it, which allows you to place it inside the heat proof mat/case that you received with it. The sign of quality that comes alongside this tool, are the titanium barrels; these babies meant you get a snag free experience while making sure the entire tool has an even heat.

If you would like to buy the Enrapture Jumbo Waver, I have found the cheapest place to buy it is Very for £74. It definitely isn't the cheapest of stylers I have had the luxury to own, but it's definitely worth it. I probably use this tool 3-4 times a week & have done since it arrived- it's worth every penny!
This product was sent to me by Enrapture for consideration. All opinions are my own & 100% honest, as always.

  3. It looks a crazy contraption with all those barrels! Does that make it heavy? They produce really nice natural curls though.
