I know I'm a little late to publish my August Product Favourites, but I've added even more products to make up for it. This month I have been trying endless amounts of different products and have finally started to find the perfect products. I'm always working towards something better, but some of these items I believe are the best so far! Here are so high end and low end products I've been loving..
MAC Eyeshadows: (l to r) Phloof!, Naked Lunch, Patina and Satin Taupe. I always knew these would be my favourite eyeshadows when I purchased them- the colours are so gorgeous. I had never planned I would fall so deeply for Patina which is now my favourite ever eyeshadow, followed closely by Naked Lunch. I wear them both daily, along with Naked by Urban Decay from their Naked Palette.
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study: I use this as a base for my eyeshadow most days, it's so shimmery and pretty. It works really well for tired looking eyes too!
Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara: I have been rocking the killer eyelashes lately and this mascara has been perfect for adding both length and volume. I have found it crumbles towards the end of the day but it's the blackest of blacks, so I can live with that.
NYX Jumbo E/S Pencil in Yogurt: All of these pencils are so quick and easy to work with, but my favourite this month has been Yogurt. It's a really light shimmery brown with a hint of gold.
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers: A really boring favourite but amazing none-the-less, these leave my lashes curled all day. They are definitely worth the £20+ I splashed out on them!
MUA Clear Mascara: Another unexciting favourite that I have been loving this month. I use it to set my brows and it's hardly a huge spend at just £1. I would definitely recommend you pick this up, it's fab.
VIVO Under Eye Concealer: I received this, amongst two other products, to review a few days ago. I was fascinated by this roll-on and couldn't wait to try it! I apply it with the roller ball and then blend it in with my Sigma E35, the results are amazing for such a cheap product.
ELF Eyebrow Kit: I have only really been using the wax type product from this tiny palette and I've found after being set with my MUA Clear Mascara it stays all day. It's the perfect colour and the brush is pretty nifty.
sorry for how bad quality this photo is- the BB cream just didn't want to be photoed.
Witch Pressed Powder: After using my MAC MSFN to add coverage to my foundation or BB cream of choice, I will then use this powder to get rid of any dewy parts left on my face. It's perfect for powdering away any shine during college and doesn't sink into my pores.
Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream: I only recently picked this up from eBay but have been using it on a day to day basis since. Lately I have been using it underneath my Young Blood Liquid Foundation and it's a perfect combination. This just perfects the skin and gives a really flawless look.
Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint: I used this at the beginning of August, before I bought the BB cream and it was amazing. It's taken a back seat as I am looking for a higher coverage when at college, but I still love it. I always have to powder this but it's perfect for nipping out and about during the hot summer days (what summer?!).
Sigma F25 Tapered Face Brush: I have been using this for all over bronzer or blending out blush, and it's the perfect brush for me. It's big enough to blend the powder perfectly but small enough to concentrate it in the supposed area. It's super soft too!
Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush: This has been my go-to brush for highlighting and contouring, as it fits perfectly into the hollows of my cheekbones. It's my favourite brush at the moment as it's a multi-tasker product.
MAC MSFN in Soft & Gentle: I use this with my F35 on my cheekbones and brow bone just to make me look a little more awake and glowing. I have been loving the bronzed look lately and this just adds to it. I'm glad this is a permanent product.
Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer: The much raved about bronzer that smells and looks like chocolate! I didn't love this when I first bought it, but am it's biggest fan at the moment. I thought it was overly orange toned when purchasing yet when I have a little bit of fake tan going on it's my perfect shade.
Sleek Suede Blusher: I apply this to the apples of my cheeks and work outwards for an all together very bronzed look. Although it isn't a bronze colour it really compliments my skin with the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer! I love the quite matte finish of this, it's perfect for a little colour without a glow (looking at you Rose Gold).
Unfortunately no lip products from me this month, I've just been wearing Burt's Bees lip balm and Sleek's Bare Minimum Pout Polish!
