Liz Earle Review: Soothing Eyebright Lotion

Now to start off, I've been using Liz Earle's entire skincare system for about 3 months now. It's done absolute wonders for my skin that I can't thank Liz herself enough for, and I will popping up a review when I have some spare time. As for little extra items such as masks, gels and lotions to go along side my routine I have been trying the Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion. It's a cooling lotion you apply to both eyes when ever you need a refreshing lift. I usually use it in the morning before I apply my Cleanse & Polish though..

I soak two cotton wool pads (cotton balls just don't cut it) in the lotion and apply them to my eyes for about 1 minutes, and 2 if I'm feeling generous! The first thing I feel is a cooling sensation, then a soothing feeling followed by a set of wide awake eyes. I saw on the website that it's non-oily and I can safely say it doesn't leave any horrible residue so could probably be used any time during the day. I of course use mine in the morning when I have super puffy eyes with dark circles the size of craters! I'm at least then a little bit presentable and don't scare away little kids.

Would I say this was a necessary? Not really. Would I say it does the job it's supposed to? Definitely. Would I recommend it? If you suffer from dark circles, puffiness, or sore eyes I would recommend it. For those with a pretty good set of peepers it isn't a must-have product.

You can purchase your very own Eyebright Lotion (150ml/£9.70) from here.

I was sent this product to review but as always my review is 100% honest.

  6. This sounds beautiful - could have done with a gallon of it this morning! ;-) My eyes quite often get tired and sensitive & this sounds like it would be very soothing, so I'm tempted to give it a go.

    Thanks for a great review

  7. Have you tried the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser?? I've just bought it and in my opinion it's just as good as Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish! I don't have any bad skin issues though which might be why i'm not noticing a difference between the two but it's definitely worth checking out seen as it's £2.99 in Superdrug at the moment! :) xx
