A not so great dupe: MAC Miss Behave..

I have heard only once or twice that Benefit's Georgia is a great dupe for MAC's Miss Behave from the Quite Cute collection. I thought myself it would be a good dupe, as they do look quite similar in their packaging. It was only once I actually swatched them I could see the difference between the two..

Top: Miss Behave     Bottom: Georgia

Where Miss Behave is a strong peachy pink with slight shimmer, Georgia is a chalky almost cream coloured peach. Miss Behave isn't only better pigmented, but the texture is also incredibly better. The application is even, soft and easy to blend, where as Georgia is a little chalky and I find a lot of product comes off when you swatch it. This obviously makes it harder to apply as there is so much excess, not good.

I can't slate Georgia too much though, as it does work really well as a highlighter. It's very shimmery, maybe too shimmery for a blush so I'd recommend using it to highlight your cupid's bow and cheekbones. This works well with my NC15 skin, not giving me the Edward Cullen effect that seems to only work for the guys! I then use Miss Behave as my blush, which I usually apply with my MAC 168 to give that peachy glow that's really in this summer.

Statistics: MAC's Miss Behave Blush was £18 for 4g of product, where as Georgia is £23.50 for 11g of product. As you can see Georgia works out a massive amount cheaper! Personally I do prefer Miss Behave so would have to say it's my favourite, but if you are looking for a cheaper (in the long run) alternative Georgia is the answer!

  1. It's a gorgeous colour, you should definitely check it out. I saw a lot of people shunning it and I don't understand why because it's absolutely beautiful! And as for the boxes, I love them but I find some of Benefit's colours aren't that great. I'm not keen on both Dandelion or Georgia really. I adore Coralista and Dallas though, very pretty. I have the Powder Time Lover set from xmas, a great way of trying them all without buying such big boxes! I don't think I'd ever get through a whole box haha. xx

  3. I've never tried Georgia, it's one of those things i've swatched about 20 times over the course of, literally, years but have always been a bit underwhelmed. Benefit's blush/bronzers do last for aaaaages though and i think are well worth the price for the use you get out of them. Miss Behave looks lovely here, i don't think i took much notice of it when i checked out the collection which is unusual as i love love love anything coral/peach/orange. Will have to pop in and double check incase i do need it!

  4. Oh wow Benefit has a lot more product in, I never realise how little MAC gave! I agree with you and @9896693a9a7dab91d21fc347df1cf45f though, I think Miss Behave is prettier x

  9. Surprisingly I like the MAC one better although I own Georgia and don't plan to buy Miss Behave. Thanks for the comparisons.

  10. I'm a little like that, I stick to a certain shade because I know it's safe. This was a bit of the opposite as I was worried it would wash me out but it doesn't :) xx

  11. I passed up all of the Quite Cute collection, even though I loved the look and was awaiting its release. Would love to see how the blush looks in a FOTD. I always go for the same blush, should probably branch out use different shades!xx
