Would you treat me different? Dressing Up!

This post is mainly for my best friend to see, but also for you to laugh at me. Just don't tell me you're laughing ;)

For my art project, Self Image, I decided to paint my face like a clown and take a few photos. Like ya' do. I then edited a few, so I will show you a selection of the photos. I'm not gonna show you them all though, as some are pretty hideous

BEFORE

EDITED- Changed focal point to face, blurred background, changed colours, sharpened.

'You're a clown, You're a joker' - a play on the word Joker. Joker as in dressed up, can find self funny, but also as you are fake and believe this will change how you are perceived by others.

 BEFORE

EDITED- colours changed, sharpened slightly

'What I see isn't what you see'- How I have made myself does not reflect me, it's how I want to be seen. (not really) I may look scary, but inside I'm a mouse (really). ;)

BEFORE

EDITED- Face morphed, exposure slightly changed.

'Would you treat me different?'- This was influenced by the program Beauty & The Beast (The Ugly Face Of Prejudice), where a man talks bluntly about the effect it has of being different. If I was different, how would you treat me?

BEFORE

EDITED- Sharpened, colours changed, saturation increased.

'I feel so colourless, like my words are painted black and white.'- I did this because I wanted a sad emotion to go alongside all the others. I wanted to show that you may be dressed in happy colours to mask your real emotions. I love sad clowns, I don't know why :)

BEFORE (rather attractive pose if I do say so myself!) ;)

EDITED- I pixelated the photo, while focusing on the eyes and mouth. Colours darkened.

'Can you see me?'- I related this to when you talk to someone, you focus on their eyes. I focus on people's mouths too, strange! I just thought this effect was amazing, how you can still see the outline through the pixelated image. This one is my favourite!

Something a little different from usual, what do you think? Will you be sporting this amazing, wearable look anytime soon :P

all photos are of myself, and are edited by myself. they are NOT to be used by anybody else, in any circumstance.
